Bachelor of Fine Arts

Experimental Animation

California Institute of the Arts • 2018

I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts in 2018. This intensive program provided comprehensive training in cutting-edge animation techniques, experimental media practices, and artistic innovation. The curriculum emphasized both traditional and digital animation methods, including stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation, motion capture, interactive media, and emerging technologies like VR and biodesign. Through rigorous studio practice and critical theory courses, I developed a multidisciplinary approach to animation as an experimental art form, laying the foundation for my practice as a transcorporeal artificer working at the intersection of technology, biology, and creative expression.
